Time Trials are important to monitor progress over time, therefore the Club holds time trials on a regular basis. We also use this as an opportunity for the swimmers to earn Speed Badges which show the achievement in each stroke. This is usually done over 25 metres or more recently 50 metres and 100 metres depending upon the development stage of the swimmer, the achievement times are shown in the table below. Once a time is achieved the relevant Badge can be obtained from Falkirk Otters Desk. Speed badges can only be achieved at the Speed Badge Event and no other Galas.
